This is a free, exclusive workshop for Myasthenia Gravis sufferers. The rare, chronic condition is marked by a breakdown of communication between nerves and muscles, which affects a person's control of his/her voluntary movements. The condition creates a negative cycle of reduced energy and activities. Betty will explain the role of gentle movements in maintaining stamina, in addition to preventing muscle atrophy and fascia adhesion. Participants can join Betty in very gentle movements that involve sitting and standing, movements specifically adapted for this group. There is no sign up for the event, please contact Betty for eligibility. This workshop is organized in conjunction with the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America, Inc.
